Cecelia Chapman is an American visual artist and filmmaker. Her practice visually explores the landscape. Using camera, text and painting, Chapman's works develop directly from the layers of environment. She proposes alternative perspectives of planet/habitat consciousness, derived from tribal-shaman land practice, mythology, speculative-future architectural schemes, magic, Jungian dreamtime, poetry, time-based works, asemic code, and performance.

Planet of Dreams 2022, follows dream across continents and time, to examine dream’s problem solving capability, focused on planet and solar system stewardship. (9 film chapters, approximately 00:20:00)
Club Paradise 2019, is a critique of vacation culture capitalism and the tourism industry’s exploitation of environment and consciousness. Filmed on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. (7 film chapters, 00:16:14) Drone Drama: Music for the Dead 2016, investigates the influence of technology and knowledge corporations on the San Francisco, California peninsula.
